Somehow the winter got away from me and I never posted any pictures of Jodi.

Jodi was one of the foster dogs I’ve taken care of this past year. I adored her and if I was in the market to adopt a 2nd dog, I would have kept her.

Milo even liked this one. He growls at most of them.

He really does love just about all dogs, he just doesn’t like sleepovers. He wants them to leave with their owners so he can have me all to himself.

Not so with Jodi. After a couple of weeks of doing the growly thing, he started playing with her.

When I first took this I was so focused on watching Jodi that I didn’t even notice that Milo was trying to keep her from playing with the other dogs. He wanted her to himself.

She was also a major snuggler. With me and with Milo.

Every night she wedged her body into mine. The night I took this picture she had her head in my armpit and fell asleep while I read. I moved her when I was ready to go to sleep, but once the lights went out, it was just a few minutes before she found her way back and burrowed into me again.

She didn’t feel good since she was spayed the day I took that video, but this was classic snuggly Jodi.

It was so cold this winter and Jodi was so tiny, so I decided she needed a coat. I looked at some pet stores but even on sale the coats were more than I wanted to spend since I knew she would get adopted quickly and the coats most likely wouldn’t fit the next dog.

So, I headed to Goodwill in search of baby clothes for her and I hit the jackpot. The clothes were just $1 each and worked perfectly.

Well…almost perfectly. The first shirt I tried outside was a toddler size and she thought it was designed to keep her feet out of the snow. You’ll have to watch the video below to see what I mean.

And one last video…just for fun.

She really loved that squeaky too. It went home with her to her forever family.

I miss her.
