Adopt a Rescue Dog: Astrid Needs a Home
She is very sweet, enjoys cuddling and has beautiful eyes that can make you melt.
Astrid is a 3 year old Shepherd/Terrier mix who is spayed, housetrained, current on her shots and microchipped.
She really likes kids and is good with them, and hasn’t been around cats yet. She’d be happiest in a home where she’s the only dog so she can be spoiled.
She’s a little shy at first but once she warms up, it’s cuddle time! Astrid loves to cuddle and will get as close to you as possible. She’s a sweet girl who is very loving and affectionate. She gets so happy and her face lights up when she sees people she knows. She’s really lovable, very soft & cuddly and has such a great personality.
Astrid enjoys being outside, loves going for walks and is a good girl on the leash. She is a good listener and pays attention when she’s being talked to and always comes when she’s called.
This pretty girl gave birth to five puppies about 3 months ago and her puppies have all been adopted. She has a really gentle nature and allowed people to handle her puppies from the moment she met them and never had a problem with it. She was a great mama to her puppies. The first time she was away from them she kept trying to find a way to get back to them. She slept with them all cuddled up together…it was really touching.
Astrid’s forever home will need to have a secure fenced-in yard or she’ll need to be on a leash or monitored when she’s outside.
She will be a great addition to any family that is looking for a sweet, lovable dog to brighten their lives.
