I don’t have kids, but I still get inspired by fun things I see on Pinterest that I know kids would love.
Here are 3 ways to put a smile on the faces of the kids in your life while keeping them busy at the same time.
This caught my eye last summer. I just love the idea of letting your kids help make their own sprinkler.
What kid wouldn’t like lego brownies? This is another one that would be a great project to do with kids. Start with a brownie mix, which is a perfect way to start teaching kids the basics of baking. Then add some food coloring to store bought vanilla icing and top with M&Ms.
Years ago when I worked at a summer camp, one of the kids’ favorite activities was when we made home made ice cream in the old fashioned bucket that you had to crank by hand. This ziplock bag method for making ice cream strikes me as not all that different than the mini ice cream maker I recently bought. It probably won’t churn out great ice cream, but it would be a fun activity to try…outside. I would hate to see one of the bags pop open in the house.
